The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (Part 2)

The afternoon of Christmas Day, my brother and his family arrived at my mom and dad's and we all opened gifts. For dinner that night, we went to my Mamaw's house where ALL of my mom's family gets together every Christmas (27 of us in all). I've done this every year since I was one year old (my first Christmas I was one day old and still in the hospital).

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Here's a look at our Christmas and my birthday in pictures!

Ford performing in his first Christmas program at church. They played the bells:

The conductor held up cards that had a color on them. When the card showed the color of their bell, that's how the kids knew when to ring their bell. Ford took his job very seriously:

I set the nativity out perfectly and this is how it ended up. Of course this is how it SHOULD look. They all came to see Baby Jesus:

Our stockings (four for us and three for the pets):

Our fat little reindeer:

Our Christmas tree.

My sweet boys:

On December 23rd, the girls came over to my house and surprised me with a birthday gift and yummy cupcakes. Abby couldn't join us, so we Skyped with her. It was so fun...like she was here was us. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these girls!

YUM!

The morning of the 24th before we left to go to Kentucky.

Opening birthday gifts with Ford and Miles.

I got a lot of amusement out of these antlers.

Trying to get the perfect Christmas picture. What you can't see in the picture is my mom trying to keep Miles from falling out of the chair.

Choke hold.

Putting out reindeer food for Santa's reindeer (oats and glitter).

Waking up on Christmas morning at my mom and dad's.

Checking out the loot.
